Happy Boo Day!

The Birthday Boy, Westin 6 years old
For Wes's party we went to Chuck-E-Cheese and had a blast!
We put Brynlie on this little ride. Judging by her smile, I think she was having the time of her life!
Jeff & McKenzie were the Skee Ball Champs! Jeff hit the jack pot & got 250 tickets in one game!

Birthday Fun

To celebrate Jeff's Birthday, we went to the Jazz Game
Oh yeah!
They won! Wahoo!
We had a fabulous time

Older, Wiser and More Attractive

Jeff is 29 on the 29th!
Even though it seems more like a birthday-week, today is my hubby's birthday!  His present (that he ordered for himself) came in the mail on Monday.  I was nice enough not to make him wait until his birthday to open it.
This morning I woke him up by singing various happy birthday songs and then I made him a yummy breakfast.  As we are eating he said, "I am getting old, but I still feel like a spring chicken."  Ha ha!  He is always making me laugh.   Along with a great sense of humor, Jeff is also very patient, loving, and respectful.  He is always willing to help others, another great quality that I admire in him.   I am in love with his smile, and I am so thankful that we found each other.  Happy Birthday Shmoops!  I hope all of your dreams come true!

The Show Must Go On

Went to see this today

Loved it, but what makes it even better is this cute girl

is in the movie as an extra!  My sister-in-law Whitnie is famous!

So if you see this movie look for her!

Mall Madness

Last week I went up to a couple of malls in Salt Lake.  First I stopped at the Fashion Place Mall.  As I searched for a place to park, I luckily found THE perfect spot, closest one possible to my usual entrance.  To myself I thought, "This is my lucky day!" It gets better.  As I am walking around I saw this:
I can't even explain to you my excitement.
Think "Little kid at Christmas" excited.
I immediately called Jeff to tell him the good news.
His reply: "Oh good, I was hoping they would get one here!" (Sarcasm included)
I am in love with this store.
I first saw the store while I was pregnant and we happened to be down in Las Vegas where I found these:

And I just HAD to have them!
I have been hooked ever since.
I check their website at least once a week.
But now I won't have to pay for shipping!
I love Janie and Jack!

Next stop, Gateway.
I went into Anthropologie,
Where I found the cutest clothes- for Baby!  (which, might I add are ridiculously expensive, but extremely cute and very unique!) If only she would be able to wear them for more than a couple of months, they would be TOTALLY worth it!
Maybe we should put them on Bryn's Christmas List?

Happy October Birthdays

(Coleman, Lynsi, Toni, Lynette, Carol, Hannah, Me, Bryn, Sheri, Grandma, Brittany, Madi, Whitnie and Chelsea)
Look at all of those beautiful women and cute girls with Coleman!  We went to lunch last week at Magelby's to celebrate the birthdays in October.  (Oops, we left out the guys, sorry Jeff and Randy!)
October 8th - Toni
I am so grateful to have such a wonderful mother in law.  I am thankful for her example, and for all that she does for our family.  She is so thoughtful, and would do anything for anyone.  I look up to her and I love her so much.
October 15th - Lynsi
She is one of the most talented people I know.  She is currently the tennis coach for Orem High, the state champs this year. She is so sweet, I am so glad that she is my sister-in-law.
October 19th - VerLynne
She is a great example of faith and service, she and her husband have served 3 missions together.  I look up to her so much.  She adores Brynlie (who is her first great grand daughter) and I am so thankful for her.
I feel privileged to be able to have these wonderful women as part of my family.
Happy Birthday!

Once upon a time...

... we were invited by our friends Jenny & Tyler to go to "Lap Time" at the library!  They sing songs and tell stories.  It was so much fun, we loved it!  We took some cute pictures of the kiddos.

Sweet Dreams

Sweet Little Brynlie is 8 months old today!
"A baby girl...
one of the most beautiful miracles in life,
one of the greatest joys we can ever know,
and one of the reasons why
there is a little extra sunshine, laughter and happiness
in my world today." -Author Unknown

Coincidentally

(I believe this was taken at the beginning of our sophomore year.)
I went to lunch today with my friend Meagan (and of course, Bryn.) It just so happened that I was also at my parents house today looking through some old pictures, searching for a baby picture of McKenzie, and I stumbled across this! Oh the memories!  I love this picture. I adore this girl. I cherish our memories!

Conference Weekend

From left to right around the table: Sleepy Bryn, Me, Jeff, Cam, Chris, Toni, Randy, Whit, Malia, Lynsi, Brandon & Coleman aka Coki.
(Note: I forgot my camera, these are cell phone pictures, not the best!)

Sunday mornings we have a delicious breakfast with Jeff's family, and watch the morning session.  We had to follow tradition by hauling all 3 of the JUMBO lovesacs up from the basement into the family room... I have never been more comfortable while watching conference.  And of course, can't forget the Jelly Bellys!

Lions and Tigers and Bears

Yesterday we went with our friends, Brett, Jenny & Tyler to visit the animals at the zoo!
We saw elephants,
Zebras,
and a couple of little monkeys!
Some bears,
a tiger,
and giraffes!
Just to name a few
We also took a ride on the carousel
Her face! She loved it.
All aboard!
We went for a little ride around the zoo on the choo choo train
If you look closely you can see a couple of hyenas in the background
We loved the zoo
