.: Four :.

{February 12th}

"Isn't it funny how day by day nothing changes,
but when you look back everything is different..."
-CS Lewis

This quote totally sums up how I feel as a mother. Everyone says "they grow up so fast" and as cliche as it is, it is crazy to think she is four, and I have no idea where the time has gone. I do know though, that I love her more and more everyday.

.:New Years Eve:.

I saw this cute idea online somewhere and decided to try it out! On New Years' Eve we took all of the ornaments off of our tree and decorated it with bead necklaces, noise makers, kazoos, candy and money filled balloons!
Cheers with our Apple Beers
Then we started popping the balloons! Note to self: Next year I will only do a few one dollar bills. The coins were dangerous! Once the balloon popped they flew, we're lucky no one was injured! :)
Look at that flinch

You can see the dollar bill in mid air, and her hair!
Oh and there were party hats on the tree as well.
Party Girls!
Love this pic
Here is the after math.
Then we went to Jeff's parents for some games and yummy food. On our way home (at about 11pm) we decided to drive up on the hill somewhere to watch the fireworks (the girls had fallen asleep on our way) Then all of a sudden Bryn woke up and she stayed up to watch the fire works with as well.

.:My Birthday:.

My Birthday was quite eventful this year! At first, all I said was that I wanted to go bowling and I didn't care what we did for the rest of the day... Well then I thought it would be fun to go to lunch (PF Changs) and see a movie (Sherlock Holmes) then go bowling. Oh and then we invited everyone over for cake and icecream. Let's just say I was worn out by the end of the day! Next year I think I will just stick to one thing. :)
Jeff made this German Chocolate Cake for me, my favorite cake!
Some pics of us bowling, which is a lot of work with two small children, but we still had fun.
Growing up I always remember going bowling for my birthday, so the tradition lives on.

After a few minutes all of the kids were finished eating and ran off to play. Then I realized Hallie was still sitting at the table eating. She loves ice cream!
Then it was time for a round of Karaoke
All of the kids had a turn and it was hilarious!
Ring around the Rosie, with actions
I had a great birthday and once again, felt very spoiled, especially having a birthday right after Christmas, but I love it and wouldn't have it any other way.
