.:Brynlie Brooke:.

Dear Brynlie,
I can't believe how big you are getting, you are such a sweet girl. I never want to forget the cute things you do and say so I have been trying to write as many down as I can remember. You have your dad and I laughing everyday. You love to make Hallie laugh too, in fact she smiles and laughs at you more than anyone else. You have a special bond with her and it is so fun for me to see it. I'm sure as you both get older you will become closer and love each other more and more.
I love it when you give Hallie a sweet little kiss and say "I love you too Hal"
I love it when you are trying to fall asleep. One night you put your baby in your arms, cuddled with her and kissed her on the cheek.
You are a sensitive, sweet little girl.

Some other funny things you have been saying recently...
On Thanksgiving you woke up and asked, "Is it Turkey Day?"
I said yes.
You asked where we were going.
I said "to Julie's house"
You said- Is she my friend?
Me- Yes
You- Is she little like me?
Me- No. She has a little girl though, and Jenna will be there. She is your age.
Bryn- Ok lets go there!

One day we were eating at Chili's and you looked out the window and said "T-O-Y" (Looking at Toys R Us)
You amaze me with your ability to learn, and remember things. You catch onto things so quickly. You are a very smart girl. Everyone comments about how mellow you are, how smart you are, and how cute you are.
I can't help but agree with them
First night in your BIG GIRL BED
This was your prize for becoming potty trained (Back in October)- after all of our bribery and trickery, it was finally up to you! We told you we would get you a pink bike, a pillow pet, etc. While shopping at target one day you saw this princess back pack with a sleeping bag inside and fell in love! So I told you after you can go potty we can come back and get it. The first time you pooped in the potty you said "Ok let's go get my sleeping bag and back pack now!" I told you after a couple of weeks with no accidents we would get it for you. It took a couple of weeks, and it wasn't easy! For awhile even when I mentioned the potty you would get mad and say no and have a little tantrum. I tried everything from sticker charts to potty treats. Books, drinks, timers, you even taught your baby to go potty! Nothing seemed to work. Then one day I held Hallie as though she was standing up and she started to "chase" you. You laughed and thought it was the funniest thing ever. Then I did it again but this time I said, "Hallie is going to chase you to the potty!" For a few days that was the ONLY way to get you to sit on the potty! But it worked, so I would like to thank Hallie for the potty training success! Haha. Don't know how we would have done it without her. Since then you have been doing great, with only a couple of accidents here and there, but never at night! We are so proud of you!
One day you even said "Bye bye pee pee, I love you"

Some other funny things you say:
"I love you .Santa, don't leave me. I love you and you love me"
"Pants to the ground..."
"Party? For Jesus? Is it His Birthday Party?"
Big girl with your back pack on
Bryn: Bye Dad
Jeff: Where are you going?
Bryn: I have to go home teaching

"Mom, push on demand"
(You even figured out how to order movies on demand! One day you and your baby were sitting on the couch to watch a movie. Later I realized you were watching Avatar. It only cost $5 and you only ordered it twice. Haha! Then you ordered some movie that was rated R for $10 --- Don't worry, you didn't watch any of it! Now the remote is out of your reach!)
You always say that all of your cousins are your friends.
You say "My friend Kinley" and "My friend Coleman"
You love going to story time at the library
I love that you will let me curl your hair and paint your nails. You are such a girly girl! Everyone asks me how I get you to hold still for so long but most of the time I just give you a toy to play with and you are fine.
French manicured nails and pedicured toes!
Some of your favorite things
Games: Hide and Go Seek, Ring Around the Rosie, Duck Duck Goose
Food: Cucumbers, Carrots, Salmon
Drink:Milk (Prefers it over water, juice or punch)
Songs: Popcorn Popping, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Justin Bieber "Baby"
You also LOVE puzzles. The one about in particular. You can do it over and over again.
I love you so much and want you to always remember that! I also want you to know that I love being your mommy. You are the best!
Love,
Me

.:Sleeping Beauties:.

The other night I was out and about while Jeff was putting the girls to bed... I got a text message from him that said:
"I was laying by Bryn
and she gave me a big hug and said
'Love you Dad, sweet dreams.' Too cute."
Speaking of sweet dreams, here is our collection of funny pictures of the girls sleeping. Enjoy!
I love how every morning Brynlie wakes up and immediately wants to hold Hallie and every morning she says, "Mom, wake up it's morning time"

.:Frosty:.

One night we got home at like 9 o'clock and Jeff went out to shovel snow. He came back in, and said to put Brynlie's snow clothes on her so they could build a snow man! I know some most children are in bed at this time, but not Bryn!

Here is our cute little snowman, who sadly, is no longer with us

.:My Birthday Dec. 30th :.

I had a great birthday, although I thought I was 26 and turning 27! What? I think I had even told people throughout the year I was 26 when really I was 25. Oops. I am now fully aware that I am 26.
Jeff baked this delicious German Chocolate cake for me, my favorite.
Isn't he the cutest?
Singing Happy Birthday
We had dinner with my family and did the chocolate fountain with all kinds of goodies

It was also fun to go to lunch for my birthday with these girls! Lynsi, Alexa, me, Elise, Whitnie & Toni

.: So This is Christmas:.

Christmas Eve: The girls in their jammies

Cookies & Milk for Santa, a note and carrots for the reindeer!
When I saw this book I had the idea to give it to the girls for Christmas, and thought it would be perfect to set out under the tree unwrapped. Since I teach in the primary, the words of this book are the same words to a primary song that they learned last year. I would sing this song to Bryn every night, it is one of our favorite songs.
Our stockings, so full with goodies
Do they look tired?
At our house, Santa leaves each person a new ornament and attached to it is a little note from him with clues to your "big" present. It was so fun to do this fun tradition with Bryn this year.
Finding one of her clues, under the kitchen table
The clues led her here, to her new dollhouse!
Breakfast at the Pearson's and opening more gifts!
Books from Grandma & Grandpa
Remote control helicopters!

Here is Bryn sharing her candy necklace with Coleman, so cute!
Bryn & Lucie just having fun
Dancing to Little Mermaid... or as Bryn would say, "Merrrrrrrr-Maid!"
