Crazy for Cars

After the kiddies were done with their gingerbread houses, they played with the cars down in the gym with Grandma & Grandpa.  They were so silly & cute!

Every time Brynlie put a car down the track she would put her arms in the air and say wahoo!  She would even do a little dance when she was super excited!

What a Treat

Every year we get together with Jeff's family to make gingerbread houses, and it is so much fun to see everyone's creative side trying to make the most unique houses!  (As you can see Brynlie was pretty excited about it!)

A Day of Thanks

We had Thanksgiving Dinner with the Pearson's this year.  We also got to spend some time with my family afterward.  It is so nice to have both of our families so close to us, especially on holidays.

I am so thankful for this time of year, and to be able to reflect on the blessings in my life.  I am so grateful for a loving husband and for a healthy and beautiful daughter.  I am thankful for the blessing of motherhood and to have a new baby on the way,  it is truly a miracle.  I am thankful to have a glimpse of what our Heavenly Father must feel for his children.  I am so grateful for our amazing parents and siblings, for our relationships with them and to have them to make memories with.  I am grateful for the Gospel in my life, for the wonderful blessings it brings.  Most of all, I am grateful for our Savior, for His love and His life.  I know these are the things that matter most in life. It is so easy to get caught up in the worries and stresses of life from day to day, but how important it is to count our blessings, and to be full of gratitude for them.

I Never Want to Forget...

how precious my baby girl is! There is something so special about watching her while she sleeps.  The other night I went to check on her and I just stared at her for awhile (I had to take a picture to capture her sweet slumber) and I became really emotional  while thinking about her and the blessing she is in my life... I am so thankful to Heavenly Father for sending us our sweet angel girl.

We took advantage of the nice weather last week and headed to the zoo, it was such a beautiful day!

We went to see the elephants first and I wish I had a picture of Brynlie's face, it was priceless!

It was so fun to see all of the baby animals too.

Halloween

I loved Brynlie's costume this year.  The best part about it was her glasses!  Wherever we went everyone would say, "I can't believe she is keeping her glasses on!"  It was hilarious.  She would keep them on for hours!

We had a fun Halloween.  We went to Westin's Birthday party and Randy's Birthday party!  Then we did a little trick or treating, Brynlie loved it!  It was so entertaining to watch her trick or treat for her first time, and how I wish we had our video camera!  It was so funny to watch her drag her candy bag (that was almost as big as her) from house to house, she could barely carry it!   Oh so fun!

Birthday Boy {October 29th}

To celebrate, Jeff and I went to a movie and later we took Brynlie with us out to dinner, and hung out with our families!
