.:Christmas Eve:.

On Christmas Eve, we all got together to celebrate Chris's Birthday and had lunch. After that we had a little dinner at our house with Jeff's parents and Whitnie & Aaron. We made a turkey and everything turned out really good! The girls put on their jammies and of course we left some cookies, milk and carrots for the reindeer along with a note to Santa.
(I got to open my present early this year... On Christmas Eve Santa left a note on the tree with clues to find my present... A new camera! I was so excited to be able take pictures of the girls on Christmas morning)

.:Christmas Festivities:.

Starting December 1st, I tried to plan something fun for us to do each day. So I got some ideas together, printed out a calendar and stuck it on our fridge. We successfully completed everything on the calendar, but not necessarily on the day we had planned to do it though. The important thing is that we did it! Some days our activities included learning new Christmas songs, reading a Christmas Book or watching a Christmas movie. One night I took Bryn to see "Arthur's Christmas" It was such a cute movie. We always try to do an act of kindness or service. For FHE one night we joined Jeff's parents and went to their neighbors house to set up and decorate their Christmas tree. It was a good experience! We had such a fun and busy December, here is just some of the fun:
Our Elves would watch us during the day and go back to the North Pole at night to report to Santa. Every morning they would reappear in random places or doing silly things. The girls loved finding them when they woke up every morning.
Festival of Trees in Spanish Fork~ Hallie's cheese face

Making and Remodeling our Gingerbread house. We turned it into a Manger and created the Nativity.

.:Mcphie Family Party:.

The next family party was at Soldier Hollow with my Mom's Family. Again, we had great food, and great company! The little ones always dress up and play out the Nativity as well.
She was VERY protective over Baby Jesus, which she should be
