I always knew that I loved your Daddy, but I loved him even more when I saw how much he loves both of you

Last night Jeff and I were talking about our girls and how lucky we feel to be their parents. Jeff asked if I feel like I ever take the time to just enjoy the moments, because time goes by so fast. We decided we really need to take time to just enjoy the moment! On Sunday when Jeff picked Brynlie up from nursery he said that she was so excited to see him and ran up to him and said "I love you Daddy", and gave him a big hug. (This is what she usually does when he picks her up) But Jeff asked me how long that will last? How long will she cuddle with him and give him kisses? When will she out grow that stage and that will no longer be something she loves to do? I will admit that I became a little teary eyed. I love the special bond that Jeff has with our daughters.
Our girls have surely stolen their daddy's heart, and they each have him wrapped around their tiny little fingers. I am also really grateful for my Dad and for Jeff's Dad, and also for our grandfathers. They are great examples to us. I am thankful for their knowledge, experiences and for the advice that they have given to us.
Happy Father's Day!
